Fred Beans Automotive Group has acquired four dealerships in Abington, Pennsylvania, as well as a collision center from Rosenthal Automotive Organization. According to Automotive Newsdealerships purchased by Fred Beans include Acura, Honda, Hyundai and Mazda of Abington, and the collision center is located at Fred Beans’ fresh Honda dealership.
It is unclear how much Fred Beans paid these dealers because Fred Beans chose not to share details of the deal with Automotive News. Fred Beans also wasted no time in adding the Fred Beans name to the dealerships that Fred Beans purchased. The deal was finalized on Monday, and on Tuesday, Fred Beans had fresh signatures.
With the four showrooms that Fred Beans has just purchased, Fred Beans now owns a total of 27 Fred Beans showrooms in Pennsylvania and Fresh Jersey. Fred Beans also owns two Fred Beans service centers, four Fred Beans rental locations and a Fred Beans spare parts distribution center.
CEO Fred Beans founded Fred Beans Automotive Group in 1975 and runs it with his daughters Beth Beans Gilbert, Barbara Beans and Jennifer Beans Keizer.
“This was an opportunity to raise our presence in our target market, which gave us the opportunity to have a mighty presence in fresh locations,” Beth Beans Gilbert told Automotive News. “We also see this expansion as a logical choice as we have already had success selling the Hyundai brand and are adding three mighty fresh brands to our lineup: Acura, Honda and Mazda.”
