Dr. Samir Parikh, President, Fortis National Mental Health Program at Fortis Healthcare, said: “As part of the Fortis National Mental Health Program, we are launching Adayu Mindfulness, a Fortis Group company, as a specialized end-to-end mental health care platform. The mental health burden in India is estimated at $2-3 billion, with an estimated one in eight people suffering from some form of mental health disorder. Therefore, mental well-being solutions are significant especially in a society like India where mental health is deeply stigmatized, leading to lack of awareness. Having pioneered various initiatives and campaigns for mental health and holistic well-being, the launch of Adayu marks a fresh chapter in our journey as we combine innovation and artificial intelligence with clinical excellence and will offer the highest level of care, striving towards our efforts to raise awareness, improve access.”
United We Care’s AI technology will integrate seamlessly with Adayu’s existing network of mental health professionals. This combination will provide a comprehensive approach to mental well-being. Users will be able to gain valuable insights into their mental health through personalized assessments by Stella, United We Care’s AI virtual well-being coach. The platform will connect individuals with trained psychiatrists, psychologists, psycho-oncologists, sports therapists, yoga experts, art therapy providers, and physiotherapists, reducing waiting times and geographical barriers. It will provide a range of resources, from videos to audio recordings, exercises and magazines, to provide holistic care with a personalized approach. In addition to the Fortis 24×7 hotline number, people will now have access to Stella support 24×7, 365 days a year.
Ritu Mehrotra, CEO and founder of United We Care, said: “We are excited to partner with Adayu, a leader in mental health care delivery, to bring our AI-powered solutions to a wider audience. Together, we aim to revolutionize the way we approach mental health, making it more accessible, affordable, effective and personalized for everyone.”
