Florida Panthers Star Sam Reinhart A Doubt For Game 3 Against Carolina Hurricanes Due To ‘Lower Body’ Injury

Florida Panthers star Sam Reinhart is unlikely to feature in Game 3 of the NHL Eastern Conference Playoff Final with Body injuries.

How did Sam Reinhart get injured?

Sam Reinhart is believed to have been ousted in the Florida Panthers’ victory over the Carolina Hurricane in Game 2 and injured his lower body.

During the offensive power play, the Canadian was hit with a big blow from Carolina Hurricanes forward Sebastian Aho.

The 29-year-old was clearly feeling a lot of pain as he limped towards the bench and appeared to hold the left side of his hip or upper area of his leg.

In typical Reinhardt style, he tried to continue playing, but after a break between the first and second seasons, the Panthers star did not return to the rink.

Overall, Reinhart was on the ice for just over five minutes, which split into eight different moments during the opening period against the Hurricane.

The injury occurred during an unfortunate period, with Reinhart giving some strong performances in the Stanley Cup playoff playoff matches, reaching 11 points in 14 matches (4G+7A).

While scoring points like this is by no means a feat, Reinhart is still quite far from the record amount of points in the playoffs. He’s far from the record-sized playoff points in 1985, as he reached 47 games in 18 games for the Edmonton Oilers.

Will Sam Reinhart face the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 3?

Getting injured in an NHL playoff encounter is by no means a good sign as the game will be thicker and faster. That is, Reinhart has doubts about Game 3 on Saturday, May 24th.

Florida Panthers head coach Paul Maurice made an ambiguous update on his current status at the age of 29, saying the NHL side should perform some checks before Game 3.

Maurice said: “We’ll let him see. So on Saturday, I have something (update) for you.”

Reinhart missed seven games for the Carolina Panthers during the regular season and was able to accumulate the franchise’s most points with 81.

His performance has proven important for the Panthers this season, and being in the top 50 top pay player in the NHL shows how his absence is a big mistake for the Florida franchise.

Who will win the Eastern Conference Playoff Final?

The Florida Panthers took a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Playoff Finals with the Carolina Hurricanes, winning the opening match 5-2 and earning a dominant shutout 5-0 victory in their second encounter.

Both of these victories are away from home, with the Panthers heading to Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, and claiming in style with the series.

Getting off to this dream will give the Panthers a great deal of confidence and be in a good position to hold the Stanley Cup Trophy for the first time in history.

It also means that the Panthers won their second Stanley Cup, their first title since they were founded last year in 1993, and founded themselves as one of the best NHL teams today.

As for the Carolina hurricane, they are about to reach the milestones of two titles, as they won their first Stanley Cup since 2006 and the 2006 Triumph is their only Stanley Cup title.

During the success of 2006, the Hurricanes overturned a 2-0 deficit against the Montreal Canadiens in the Eastern Conference Quarter Finals, winning 4-2.
