Do you think Keke Palmer has the richest collection of mood boards in the world, or does he just keep all his creativity on display? Whatever her process is, it’s certainly extensive – how else can you explain her legally endless stream of groundbreaking hairstyles, manicures and makeup? It’s actually her NBC game show Password is basically a nationwide TV platform for showing them all. However, her latest look combines several current trends into one amazing moment. Palmer’s blue French manicure has pretty sky-colored tips, perfect for summer, but it’s not circumscribed to just a fun variation on the classic. The actor, producer and singer also complemented the entire nail range with adorable heart-shaped charms – a special hidden detail that is quickly gaining popularity.
Palmer revealed the stunning modern kit in a series of promotional photos for the latest batch Password episodes. Bringing a touch of retro glamor to her ’90s-style denim jacket and tailored trousers, Palmer poses with a cute bow barrette in her partially slicked-back hair. The lithe blue tips of her square manicure match the material of her set, while the white red heart-shaped crystals attached to her ring nails coordinate with her ruby lipstick.
Even the pendants themselves look a bit vintage, with the edges decorated with gold ruffles like a retro Valentine’s Day. It certainly matches the floral tie tucked into the front of Palmer’s denim jacket. However, this is not the first time the star decided to decorate her nails with 3D. Back in December, she showed off a sparkling collection of crystals featured on a set of aura nails, and has been known for designs with textured and embossed patterns on several occasions.
And as always, Palmer is on point when it comes to looks. Nail art is becoming more and more common among other celebrities, but it’s amusing how diverse these styles can be. These include earring-like hoops, laser-cut studs, cartoonish shapes and hyper-realistic flowers. Rihanna just wore a whole bouquet of three-dimensional flowers on the cover Fashion China, actually.
Seemingly the next gigantic wave in nail art, it looks like Palmer’s charms will be everywhere in the coming months.
