Other high-profile artificial intelligence partnerships include Amazon and Google’s investment in Anthropic, raising regulatory concerns that tech giants could once again dominate this burgeoning field as they do in other, more conventional areas.

Earlier this month, The Information magazine reported that Mistral AI was in talks with investors about raising several hundred million dollars, which would give it a total valuation of $5 billion.
The December fundraising round gave Mistral AI a valuation of 2 billion euros ($2.1 billion).
