David Heyman and Amy Pascal are reportedly in discussions to pilot the James Bond franchise after Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli finalize their deal to hand over the property creative control of the property to Amazon MGM.
Amazon MGM did not comment on the report that first appeared on Puck.
Heyman and Pascal were among the well-known producers most frequently mentioned in speculation about the new bond director. Other names mentioned include Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan from the working title films, Andrew McDonald and Aron Reich from the DNA films, and Pete Charnin from the Graham Broadbent and the Blueprint photographs.
British-based heyday film Heyman was quickly considered a frontrunner due to his track record as a producer of eight Harry Potter films.
