What’s better than a group game? One that doesn’t require sticks Or balls Or zambonis to play, but it is fully distributed – happening everywhere, always and for everyone, just like back then Pokémon Go ushered in exactly two weeks of what seemed like world peace before the match started. Now there’s a fresh collective game in town, and this one is automotive in nature: you just don’t notice Tesla Cybertruck.
Bluesky user Charles Louis Richter developed a game titled Cyber tired, around a basic concept: if you see a Cybertruck, you lose. However, only trucks that are actually in the world count – there are no display models, dealers or car carriers.
Somehow I didn’t manage to lose Cyber tired Already. The lone Cybertruck I personally spotted was sitting on the floor of the Gowanus Tesla store, and I only saw it briefly as I rode by on my bike. Several other Novel York Jalops lost Cyber tired right now, but here in Brooklyn we seem to be blissfully free from stainless steel eye sores. Well, my part of Brooklyn anyway. I’m sure Williamsburg is full of them.
If you see a Cybertruck on the road, I’m sorry to be the one to tell you this – you’re lost Cyber tired. If not, well, it’s probably only a matter of time before you come out too. Eventually the Cybertruck will come for us all.
