Throughout the first four games of the 2025 season, Commander is 2-2. Washington is in a 34-27 defeat in Week 4 and the Falcons.
It was the second consecutive game in which the commander did not start QB Jayden Daniels. The 2024 offensive Rookie of the Year suffered a knee injury in week two. Daniels was forced to miss two games. Prior to week 5 matchup vs. Chargers, Jayden Daniels was completely cleared for practice. With the exception of the big set-off, I’m hoping that Daniels will be active this Sunday.
Jaden Daniels is expected to be available in Washington in week 5

During a 27-18 loss to the Packers in week two, QB Jayden Daniels suffered a knee injury. The 24-year-old didn’t miss any action in his second week, but was featured in his post-game injury report. Despite their best efforts to play in Week 3, the commander decided on the Daniels vs. Raiders bench bench. Backup Marcus Mariota started, and Washington won 41-24. Jaden Daniels wanted to play again in week 4. However, the commander gave him another game rest.
Washington lost 34-27 to the Falcons in week four. They are 2-2 this season and are having a tougher matchup in week 5. The commander is on his way to stand up to a 3-1 charger. Los Angeles is making an ugly 21-18 loss to the 1-3 New York Giants. Expect Jim Harbaugh to motivate his team to the commander. Luckily, Washington has an important offensive piece that returned this Sunday.

Jaden Daniels will be available to commanders for week 5 and chargers. Speaking to the media this week, Daniels commented that he was wearing a brace on his knee. He’s not a huge fan of it, but Daniels said, “I’ll do whatever I can” to make it available in Washington. Daniels said he felt healthy enough to play in week three, but that decision wasn’t up to him.
In 2024, Jayden Daniels led Commander to a 12-5 record. Through two starts in 2025, Daniels is 1-1. The second year pros try to get their teams back on track in week 5. Washington is suffering a terrible fourth week defeat to the Falcons. In his two starts, Daniels is 43-72 with 433 passing yards and three touchdowns. Plus, he has 18 rushes for 85 yards. Will Jaden Daniels take the commander on the road in week 5 to get a tough win with a Los Angeles charger?
