California this week dropped a lawsuit against the Trump administration over the federal government’s decision to provide $4 billion in funding for the state’s long-delayed high-speed rail project.
On December 23, the California High Speed Rail Authority filed a notice of voluntary dismissal of the lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. The dismissal comes without prejudice, meaning the case could be refiled in the future.
