Do you think the EU will work at 27? Do you think you can work at 29 or 35? And did you know that EU environment ministers were working out a compromise plan for COP30 until the wee hours of this week?
Above are some of the questions we posed in this first edition of “Brussels, Beloved?” This is a podcast that aims to bring you closer to EU politics and policies.
The episode, broadcast from the European Parliament’s podcast studio, will feature veteran EU analyst Teresa Küchler from the Swedish daily Svenska Dagbladet, Stefan Grove from Euronews, and Cynthia Ní Murtsch, a former lawyer turned MEP.
From this week’s EU Enlargement Report to the EU’s position at the upcoming COP30 meeting in Brazil, there was plenty to chew on. Of course, people are innocent until proven guilty, but this week the former European Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders, was indicted for money laundering.
You can listen to the podcast ‘Brussels, my love?’ here, on your favorite podcast platform or on Euronews’ Youtube channel.
