Attorney General Pam Bondy and Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgham visited former federal prison in California on July 17th.
Located off the coast of San Francisco, Alcatraz served as a federal prison from 1934 until 1963. Since then, it has been managed by the National Park Service and is open to the public as a tourist destination.
