BMW X3 Shadow edition launched in India at Rs 74.9 lakh: what’s different

BMW India launched a novelty BMW X3 Shadow Edition in the Indian market. The Shadow Edition is based on the top-end X3 xDrive20d M Sports variant and is priced at Rs 74.9 lakh (ex-showroom). There are several of them in this edition cosmetic changesfresh aluminum rims and fresh upholstery for interior. Interested customers can book the SUV online or by visiting a dealership.

BMW X3 Shadow Edition characteristics darkened grille with darkened graphics on the windows, roof rails and rear exhaust pipes. It also features BMW Laser Lightweight headlamps with blue accents. The SUV also comes with 19-inch M-spec alloy wheels. Customers can also choose the Black Edition package with a blacked-out M rear spoiler, side stripe graphics and an M logo on the front wing. The Carbon Edition package includes a carbon fiber gearshift lever and door sills.

Inside, the Shadow Edition features two-tone leather upholstery finished in mocha and black with contrast blue stitching. Customers can also opt for the option M Sports Package which is equipped with an M-spec steering wheel and electric sports seats with memory function. Other features include dual 12.3-inch displays for infotainment and instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, head-up display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 16-speaker Harmon/Kardon sound system, connected car technology , gesture control and more.

As we mentioned earlier, the Shadow X3 edition will only be offered with a diesel engine. It is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine diesel engine which generates a power of 190 HP and a torque of 400 Nm. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. BMW claims that the SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds and has a top speed of 220 km/h.
