Bleecker Street has partnered with World of Wonder to acquire North American rights to untitled action comedies from Adam Shankman to Star Rupaul.
It will be dubbed as the first theatrical feature project from Rupaul’s drag racing The universe, the story follows his best friends Tess and Dee Dee.
If the devastating “Storm Gunza” threatens to derail the high-speed train and crash into Los Angeles, the coaching duo will need to join forces with Snowby’s first class passengers and President Gagwell (RuPaul) to save the day.
The main photos are scheduled to begin this fall in Los Angeles. World of Wonder produced the feature, while Connor Wright and Christina Friel co-written the script.
Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell, RuPaul Charles and Shankman are producers. Unapologetic Projects is the executive producer and investor of the project.
Bleecker Street is set to release the film in theaters in 2026. Miranda King and Avy Eschenasy negotiated a contract with Cinetic Media, which represents the filmmakers.

“The first drag queen in America to handle the Hyperspeed, transcontinental and non-denominational bullet rows,” said Bailey and Barbato, co-founders of World of Wonder.
