Manoj Bajpayee is one of the most sought-after actors in Bollywood. Portraying a variety of characters through different genres and mediums, he has proven himself to be a versatile actor. In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Manoj Bajpayee spoke in detail about his journey from his hometown Patna to Delhi and how he fulfilled his dreams of becoming an actor.
Manoj Bajpayee said, “I haven’t seen Delhi before. I also had a friend, Ravindra Chaudhary. Seeing this dream also gave you the feeling that what you saw will not happen and you are here in class. “Go to the place where your dream comes, your dream comes again and again.”
About his journey from Patna to Delhi, he said, “We reached Patna station and we are waiting when the Jayanti Janta train will arrive at the platform and when we will board the train and take our seats. I have no idea of this place to sleep in my head. …because we didn’t see the train. You had to reserve a place to sleep, but I didn’t have such a reservation, so sometimes he slept on the spot and read the newspaper beneath me. I had a 101 degree fever on the waterfront and had to deal with it, just as the train reached Delhi, here the train stopped, traffic flowed slowly. A gigantic city for the first time, for me it was like a fairy tale land, looking out the window.
Manoj Bajpayee will soon be seen in his 100th film ‘Bhaiyya Ji’. Earlier, the makers also released the trailer and an exclusive look of the film. With a cigarette in his mouth, a towel around his neck and a look of horror on his face, his gaze is extremely cruel. ‘Bhaiyya Ji’ is scheduled to release on May 24, 2024. Apart from Manoj Bajpayee, actors Suvinder Vicky, Jatin Goswami, Vipin Sharma and Zoya Hussain will play the lead roles.
Manoj’s last release Joram won awards at every opportunity. Joram tells a story of survival, justice and revenge. Directed by Devashish Makhija, the film also stars Smita Tambe, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Tannishtha Chatterjee and Rajshri Deshpande.
