Updates to iPad Pro models
The modern iPad Pro models will be significantly improved, offering powerful M3 chips, OLED displays, a sleeker design, an improved rear camera layout, and potentially MagSafe wireless charging. However, the transition to OLED screens came with challenges that led to the launch being delayed.
Display Supply Chain Consultants analyst Ross Juvenile revealed that Samsung will exclusively supply OLED displays for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, while both Samsung and LG will split orders for the 11.1-inch model. This diversification of Apple’s supply chain is intended to ensure a steady supply of components for modern devices.
Expanding the iPad Air lineup
Additionally, Apple plans to introduce two modern iPad Air models, including a larger 12.9-inch version, marking a significant expansion of the iPad Air lineup. These models are expected to feature an M2 chip and a horizontal front camera, just like the upcoming iPad Pro models. In addition to the modern iPads, Apple will unveil a modern Magic Keyboard adapted for iPad Pro, with a larger trackpad, an aluminum case and other design improvements, as well as a modern Apple Pencil. These accessories are designed to complement the modern iPad line and improve user comfort. Contrary to previous expectations for a formal event, Apple is expected to announce the modern iPads in a press release on the Apple Newsroom website, reflecting its recent launch strategy for iPad MacBook Air models with the M3 chip. The upcoming iPad Pro and iPad Air models reflect Apple’s commitment to innovation, offering advanced features and capabilities to meet consumers’ evolving needs. Stay tuned for further updates as the release date approaches.
