Recent Delhi: Dil Dosti Dilemma actress Anushka Sen has a huge fan following on social media – all thanks to her presence in popular TV shows over the years. The actress is now venturing into novel territory as she takes on the role of an assassin in her upcoming international film ‘Asia’.
In a recent interview with Variety Anushka Sen expressed her excitement about working on this global project. She stated, “It’s an action thriller with people from all over Asia and different countries. People are joining in with this great movie. And this is a global film. It’s a K movie and I’m really excited to be a part of it. We have shot the first schedule and now we are waiting for the second schedule. This is my first time playing an assassin.
The actress also shared her admiration for Korean cinema and her desire to collaborate with the industry. She mentioned, “During the pandemic, when I watched K-grade dramas, they made me feel hearty. During this time, I would just manifest that Korea is in Asia and it would be nice if we could collaborate with them… the way they create content is amazing and extremely inspiring. And in Indian cinema, the way we show romance and family, there are many similarities between Indian cinema and Korean cinema.
Anushka Sen also became the honorary brand ambassador of Korean tourism.
