WWDC is an event where the technology giant updates all its products with modern software and features. iOS 18 for iPhone is expected to be unveiled this year along with updates for other operating systems.
Apple is expected to incorporate artificial intelligence into its operating systems with a focus on improving Siri. There are rumors that the updated Siri will utilize vast language models to better understand user queries and take actions in Apple apps. Apple could brand these AI features as “Apple Intelligence” and integrate them into its apps.
During the event, Apple will likely compete with the likes of Google and Microsoft in the AI space with the release of iOS 18. This update is expected to introduce significant modern capabilities and designs centered around AI integration.
Many iOS 18 features are also expected to be available in iPadOS 18. Additionally, there are rumors that the upcoming watchOS 11 may introduce modern workout types and watch faces, although it may not be a massive update this year.
Apple is also expected to release a modern version of VisionOS, the software that powers the VR headset.
