Aditi Rao Hydari, who recently announced her engagement to actor Siddharth, said that she is in the happiest phase of her relationship and is enjoying every moment.
“It’s wonderful and absolutely fantastic. I feel very content,” Aditi told ANI while talking about her engagement.
Both actors announced their engagement in March on social media.
Aditi has many reasons to celebrate. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is receiving a lot of praise for her performance in the film Constitution: Diamond Bazaar.
The ‘Padmaavat’ actor is content to reunite with Bhansali and said that working with him was an amazing experience.
“He creates such attractive, immersive worlds. He brings out the best in his actors. What makes… Constitution what’s so special is that there are so many stories to tell, each involving a unique woman. And Sanjay Sir really gives a lot of dignity to his female characters and their stories,” she said.
“She believes that every woman, regardless of where she comes from, deserves to be treated like a queen. And her story is worth telling with a lot of dignity, pride and courage. So be a part of it Constitution and being with Sanjay Sir and surrendering to him and learning from him has been amazing and I feel very blessed for it. I love Sanjay Sir and it was great working with him,” she added.
Through the stories of courtesans and their patronesses, the series delves into cultural reality ConstitutionThe series stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, Taha Shah Badussha, Shekhar Suman and Adhyayan Suman.
For Aditi, working with a team of such talented actors was a learning experience. “Working with amazing people has been very valuable to me. It was also surreal for me to work with Manisha Ma’am, Sonakshi, Richa and Sanjeeda. There were so many amazing people on set. We all wanted what was best for ourselves.”
“Miss Manisha is so kind and encouraging. Likewise Sanjeeda, Sharmin, Taha, Fardeen (Khan), they are all great and amazing.”
Aditi plays the forceful character of Bibbojaan in the show. The great actress believes that she can give her all.
“I have surrendered completely to Sanjay Sir. I surrendered to his vision. I gave in to his script. For me, preparation was working on my language. I need to speak Urdu in a way that looks natural. Muneera Ma’am was our diction coach and she paid special attention to our pronunciation.”
She also learned Kathak for the series. “My other preparation was that I learned Bharatanatyam from the age of five. This is my muscle memory and I break it down into Kathak, this one, and also legitimate Kathak, not the kind we see today. This was my preparation to make sure that when I came to the set, I would direct and make my director proud.”
Aditi is looking forward to some of her thrilling projects.
“I have ‘Lioness’ is an Indian-British production. The main characters are two girls. Paige Sandhu from the UK is there. It’s about the suffragette movement and I think a lot of people are very excited about it. So I can’t wait to start this. I am also in preparation and will be leaving for Cannes with L’Oreal soon. So I’m getting ready to do some work there,” she said.
