Aaron Rodgers left more questions than answers after his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show

After the 2024 season, the Jets parted ways with veteran QB Aaron Rodgers. He was in New York for two seasons. The NFL Draft is within a week, and Rogers has yet to find a home for 2025.

On Thursday, Rogers went to ESPN’s “Pat McCuffy Show” for a 45-minute interview. Rogers has a strong relationship with McAfee. This is the only regular media look that Rogers tends to make. Four league MVPs said all options are on the table this offseason. He was able to return to 2025 and retire this offseason. Aaron Rodgers is not in a hurry to make a decision.

What will Aaron Rodgers have in the future?

Pat McAfee had free agent QB Aaron Rodgers on the ESPN talk show on Thursday. When this was first announced, many media members believed that Rodgers would announce where he was playing in 2025. However, Rogers went to the “Pat McCuffy Show” and had a long discussion. Thursday was the first time Rogers has spoken publicly since he was released by the New York Jets.

Despite talking to McAfee for 45 minutes, there was little clearer about the future of the Rodgers. The 41-year-old has left all his options on the table this offseason. Rogers said retirement could be possible. Three teams have been linked to Aaron Rodgers this offseason. That includes the Giants, Steelers and the Vikings.

New York has signed veterans Russell Wilson and Jamis Winston. They’re not running for Rogers. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported on Friday that the Vikings are moving forward comfortably with JJ McCarthy in 2025. Pittsburgh’s decision in the 2025 NFL Draft could help Rogers make his decision. When the Steelers draft a QB, Rogers could lose interest. We need to wait for what Aaron Rodgers’ future will be. Has he already played his last NFL game or will he wear a suit in 2025?
