In the MLB season of the rearview mirror, MLB held this year’s Silver Slugger Awards on Tuesday night, with Judge Aaron and Shohei Ohtani leading the way in the major trophies.
Judge & Ohtani Lead MLB Award
Judge Aaron and Shohei Ohtani appeared in a big spot this year, and he was the same face that picked up this year’s MLB Silver Slugger Awards.
The Silver Slugger Awards are voted by league coaches and managers, with the best players in each of the AL and NL positions being honored (except for three outfielders from each league).
While only seven first-time award winners this year, the other 13 have already won the Slugger Batters Trophy in their careers. Jose Altuve and Mookie Betts have won the seventh title that only 16 players in MLB history have ever played.

Both World Series teams have won the Attacking Team of the Year title, with the Yankees and Dodgers both dominating the awards.
