Beyond the scenes of passionate romance on screen and the Regency-era costume designs, there’s no denying the off-screen appeal of the hit Netflix series Bridgerton she also introduced a lot of fashion muses to the sartorial circle. Seasons one and two made Phoebe Dynevor and Simone Ashley – who play Daphne and Kate Bridgerton, respectively – the must-watch stars at the forefront of style. And now, with the season three premiere on the horizon, attention turns to novel lead character Nicola Coughlan, aka Penelope Featherington. In another close-up, Coughlan wore Bad Binch TongTong’s iconic pink dress with an eccentrically contoured hoop that reached well beyond the actor’s body. She accessorized her latest magazine appearance with a fluffy black coat by Erdem, a leather trench coat from The Frankie Shop over the top, a black skirt by Kallmyer, a denim bandeau top by Tanya Taylor paired with translucent opera gloves and last but not least, a floral dress maxi Balenciaga decorated with a fashionable cape.
