Moving to the rear, the model gets a recent spoiler, diffuser and Y-shape. Tail lamps. Furthermore, recent underbody air intakes and improved air ducts now improve aerodynamic efficiency, increasing airflow to chilly mechanical components and the engine by 15 percent compared to the standard Urus.
It comes standard with recent 23-inch alloy wheels with recent Pirelli P Zero tires. Additionally, the SUV will be offered in over 100 color options, including two recent ones: Arancio Egon (orange) with Arancio Apodis (orange) interior and Bianco Sapphirus (white) with Terra Kedros (terracotta) interior.

Manage SE: Powertrain
Powering the Urus SE is a hybrid powertrain, combining a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and electric engine, giving a total power of 788 HP and a torque of 950 Nm. Thanks to the 25.9 kWh lithium-ion battery located under the trunk floor, Urus SE can travel more than 60 km in electric mode. The hybrid powertrain introduces four recent electric models Efficiency Strategies (EPS), adding to the Urus’ existing six driving modes for a total of eleven options. In addition to the familiar Strada, Sport and Corsa modes for various road conditions, and Neve, Sabbia and Terra modes for off-road driving, the recent EPS includes EV, hybrid, performance and charging options.
We wanted to be number 1 in the power department, hence the hybrid route for Urus: Rouven Mohr, CTO, Lamborghini
We recently spoke with Rouven Mohr, CTO of Automobili Lamborghini SpA, to learn more about the company’s strategy for the Urus SE. Here are edited excerpts.
“First of all, it’s definitely about the power output, because we decided to go in the plug-in direction because we wanted to be number one in terms of power output.”
“Urus SE is taking a huge step. “It is the biggest step in the evolution of the Urus to date and is even more comfortable than the current Urus S,” he added.
When asked what steps were taken to offset the increased weight of the hybrid powertrain, he explained: “We did a lot of things to compensate for the extra weight, for example we saved 20 kg on the rear differential. Many minor modifications were also made to achieve our goal. We have the lightest hybrid version of the competition. We certainly subtracted based on our lightweight technology.
“We also made a lot of improvements on the outside, which is the three layers, because we definitely have more power output, so we needed a little more cooling power. We improved cooling efficiency by 50%. We have also improved brake cooling by 30% based on recent airflow from the chassis to the brake calipers,” he explained of the other changes the Urus SE has undergone.
Last year, the company debuted the Revuelto V12 hybrid, marking a shift towards an electric brand. For now, the manufacturer will focus on hybrid technology, and the debut of the Urus SE and the hybrid successor of the Huracan are scheduled for later this year. “Every hybrid is a high-performance hybrid. We will certainly start with our fully electric offering by the end of the decade.” Mohr noted.
