Saudi Arabia launches Al-powered travel solutions platform 'TC'

Saudi Arabia’s national carrier has unveiled its groundbreaking Travel Companion (TC) digital platform, marking a significant milestone in its two-year strategy to transform the air travel landscape. Developed in partnership with global professional services firm Accenture, TC uses cutting-edge artificial intelligence to redefine how travelers interact with the airline industry. Travel Companion introduces a range of personalized features tailored to individual preferences, delivering search results from verified sources and using image-based answers to enhance the user experience. This all-in-one platform serves as a unified hub, allowing users to seamlessly book concierge services such as accommodations, transportation, meals, activities and attractions without having to switch between multiple applications.

Future versions of TC will include advanced features such as voice commands and digital payment solutions, making travel even more productive. Available via a telecommunications e-SIM card provided by Saudia, the always-on Travel Companion provides global connectivity by enabling users to purchase data plans to ensure continuous access to a suite of services.

With ambitions beyond classic flight bookings, Travel Companion aims to position itself as the leading travel app, offering unrivaled insight into travel and convenience. His Excellency Eng.
