Netflix recently announced the long-awaited premiere of “Laapataa Ladies.” Directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Aamir Khan, the film will be released on Netflix at midnight. Netflix India unveils the poster of the film, confirming its release on April 26. The film hit theaters on March 1. It is based on the award-winning novella by Biplab Goswami and stars Sparsh Shrivastava, Pratibha Ranta, Nitanshi Goel and Ravi Kisan. Upon its theatrical debut, the film was warmly received by audiences and critics alike due to its plot, pure entertainment, brilliant performances and witty humor.

About the movie
Laapataa Ladies is a 2023 film about two fiancées who are accidentally switched on a train to Mukhi in rural India. The plot of the film focuses on the search for a real fiancée and their journey to self-discovery.
The film also received a standing ovation during its premiere at TIFF. Written by Sneha Desai and Divyanidhi Sharma, produced under the banners Kindling Production and Aamir Khan Production.
This is Kiran Rao’s second directional venture after ‘Dhobi Ghat’. The film is presented by Jio Studios and produced by Aamir Khan and Jyoti Deshpande.
