The film Vedaa starring John Abraham, which was earlier scheduled to release on July 12, has been postponed by almost a month. The film’s director Nikkhil Advani on Friday shared the poster of the upcoming action movie, mentioning the novel release date of August 15, 2024. Vedaa will not clash with one of the most anticipated films of 2024, Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the main roles. “On this Independence Day, woh aa rahe hain… Insaaf ki jung nice!” #Vedaa in theaters from August 15,” Nikkhil wrote along with the novel poster on Instagram.

Apart from John, Vedaa also stars Sharvari Wagh, Abhishek Banerjee and Tamannaah Bhatia in pivotal roles. This is John Abraham’s second collaboration with director Nikkhil Advani and ZEE Studios after Batla House (2019).

About Pushpa 2: Principle
Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna will reprise their roles in Pushpa 2: The Rule. Apart from these two, the film will also feature Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Anasuya Bhardwaj and Jagdish. Like the first part, this part is directed by Sukumar. Srikant Visa wrote film history with him. The second film will hit theaters on August 15, 2024.
