On the set in Up-to-date York, Johnson could be seen wearing a wide range of plain clothes, business suits and several floral midi dresses. And just when we thought we’d seen it all from the fashion muse, Johnson stepped out in a dazzling yellow matching set decorated with adorable flirty embroidery. Is that all there is to say? Her character’s sewing skills are as broad as Johnson’s.
On June 5, during a break from filming with her costar Chris Evans, Johnson once again made the streets of Up-to-date York her runway in her brightest outfit Materialists rotation so far. Instead of exploiting her heroine’s penchant for neutral numbers,… Fifty shades of gray the actor went a more colorful route in a yellow button-up jacket and slim wide-leg trousers from the Up-to-date York brand, Foretell. Johnson’s summer ensemble seemed surprisingly romantic with its floral beaded embellishments along the collar, breast pockets, waist and both hems. Bode’s top showed off a white tank top, which she tucked into her pants to show off the cute embroidery at the waist. Even though she’s mostly been wearing sage green Adidas Sambas over the last few weeks, the A-lister opted for brown this time Nike Cortez textile sneakers. From there, Johnson used her accessories to keep a low profile. She chose tortoiseshell cat-eye sunglasses from Bottega Veneta, a Mets baseball cap and a slim gold chain necklace.
A few hours later, in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, Johnson could be seen again in a different outfit. She traded in her statement-making ensemble for a foolproof pairing with slightly baggy white button-down jeans and light-colored straight-leg jeans. The star styled another pair of mighty kicks – the so-called Nike Daybreak sneakers in black, on a rubber sole. She accessorized her second OOTD look with silver jewelry, including an elegant herringbone necklace and hoop earrings.
