Chris Carmack and his Grey’s Anatomy co-stars took Kenergy to the set to celebrate the series’ 20th season finale.
The cast recreated Ryan Gosling’s Oscars performance of “I’m Just Ken” with Carmack, who plays Dr. Atticus “Link” Lincoln on the ABC series, wearing sunglasses and a faux fur coat reminiscent of Gosling’s now iconic white outfit from the film Barbie dolland a rainbow cowboy hat.
In a video posted on social media, Carmack invited other stars: Camilla Luddington, Natalie Morales, Jake Borelli, Anthony Hill, Kevin McKidd, Niko Terho, Harry Shum Jr. and James Pickens Jr. to offer their thoughts on the Oscar-winning performance by storm. Together they synchronized the lyrics to the Oscar-nominated song.
Gosling performed the hit song on stage at the awards show in March, taking the stage with fellow Kens, played by Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Ncuti Gatwa and others, in radiant pink tails and top hats. Slash was also present during the performance.
He concluded: “Thank you to our writers, producers and directors who, 20 years later, continue to work tirelessly to make our series a success! And finally… thank you FANS!!! You keep our spirits high!”
The Grey’s Anatomy The season 20 finale is now streaming on Hulu, and the hit series has been renewed for season 21 on ABC.
