On Friday, one of the most popular TV shows Bade Achhe Lagte Hain completed its 13th anniversary. The show, starring actors Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar, won many hearts and gained a huge fan following. As the show reached a milestone, producer Ekta Kapoor took to social media to pen a heartfelt letter.

About the show
For the uninitiated, BALH was based on the Gujarati play Patrani by Imtiaz Patel. The film also featured Chahatt Khanna, Samir Kochhar, Shubhavi Choksey and many others. Produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms, the series began airing in May 2011. Bade Acche Lagte Hain is the story of middle-aged business tycoon Ram Kapoor and middle-class Priya Sharma (played by Sakshi Tanwar) who have an arranged marriage but later fall in love and from there their journey begins. The show, aired on Sony Entertainment Channel, witnessed the ups and downs in the lives of the characters and their family members and went through almost three stages, covering several years at a time.
