This year, the actor came up with the action thriller ‘Bhaiyya Ji’. The actor once again dominated the film with his powerful character. ‘Bhaiyya Ji’ hit theaters on May 24. The film didn’t have a good start at the domestic box office on its first day. However, the film was expected to earn well over the weekend.

On Friday, ‘Bhaiyya Ji’ opened with Rs 1.30 crore at the domestic box office. On Saturday, the film was expected to do good business and the same happened. The film’s earnings increased on its second day. On its second day, the Manoj Bajpayee-starrer film grossed Rs 1.75 crore. So far, Sunday earnings are decent. According to Sacknilk’s early dealings, Manoj Bajpayee’s film has grossed Rs 1.90 crore on its third day of release.
Bhaiyya Ji is competing with Rajkummar Rao’s Srikanth
Compared to ‘Srikanth’, ‘Bhaiyya Ji’ had a sluggish first weekend. In its first weekend, Rajkummar Rao grossed around Rs 12 crore. Even after 17 days, the magic of the film is still evident. The film has grossed Rs 36 crores so far.
For the uninitiated, ‘Bhaiyya Ji’ directed by Apoorva Singh Karki is a revenge story. Zoya Hussain, Suvinder Vicky, Jatin Goswami, Vipin Sharma and Rama Sharma also play critical roles in the film.
