Mahindra XUV 700 AX5 Select Launched: Check Price, Features, Engine Options and More

Mahindra & Mahindra has announced the launch Mahindra XUV 700 AX5 select variant for the Indian market. The AX5 Select will be offered with both petrol and diesel engines and prices will start from Rs 16.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the SUV are now open and deliveries are expected to begin soon.

In terms of pricing, the MT petrol variant is priced at Rs 16.89 lakh and the AT petrol variant is priced at Rs 18.49 lakh.The MT diesel is priced at Rs 17.49 lakh and the AT is priced at Rs 19.09 lakh (ex-showroom). The AX5 S variants are around Rs 50,000 more high-priced than the AX3, depending on engine and gearbox options.

Recent Mahindra XUV 700 AX5 Select (AX5 S) sits between the AX3 and AX5 and has some additional features over the former. The AX5 S will be offered exclusively in a seven-seat configuration and will be equipped with features such as a panoramic sunroof, start/stop button, 10.25-inch infotainment and instrument cluster screens, Amazon Alexa built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, six speakers, LED daytime running lights, second-row map lights and more.

As mentioned earlier, the up-to-date AX5 S variant is available with both petrol and diesel engines, with both 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmissions. A 2.2-liter turbodiesel is available with 185 HP and 420 Nm of torque (450 Nm with AT). The petrol is a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit with a power of 200 HP and a torque of 380 Nm.
