The company has already produced four Land Rover models in India – F-Pace, Discovery Sport, Evoque and Velar.Now the flagship Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models will be produced in parallel, with production of both models complementing production already taking place in the UK. Solihull since 1970. Solihull will also remain home to the upcoming fully electric Range Rover and its high-performance ‘SV’ variants.
Conversation about price listThe locally produced Range Rover with the 3.0-litre HSE LWB diesel engine is priced at Rs 2.36 crore and the Autobiography petrol variant is priced at Rs 2.6 crore (both ex-showroom prices). The much sportier Range Rover Sport costs Rs 1.40 crore (ex-showroom). Along with this announcement, the company also inaugurated Range Rover House – the first experiential brand center in India, located in Alibaug, on the Konkan coast.
