Netflix on Thursday evening released the first trailer for Liam Hemsworth’s version of “Geralt of Rivia” from the fourth season of The Witcher. In the series, Liam will replace Henry Cavill as the main character. In the trailer, Geralt can be seen leading his horse through a foggy area, reacting to ominous sounds behind him. “Aged coin, novel The Witcher,” Netflix wrote along with the trailer on Instagram.

After the series ended, Henry Cavill said: “My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventure, and unfortunately, I will be hanging up my medallion and swords for Season 4.”
“In my place, the fantastic Mr. Liam Hemsworth will take up the mantle of the White Wolf. As with the greatest literary figures, I pass the torch with respect for my time spent playing Geralt and enthusiasm to see Liam take on this most fascinating and nuanced man,” he added.
On the other hand, Liam Hemsworth expressed his excitement about taking on the role and said, “Henry Cavill was an amazing Geralt and I’m honored that he handed me the reins and allowed me to take up the blades of the White Wolf in the next chapter of his adventure.”
Additionally, Hemsworth addressed Cavill, praising the actor’s performance. “Henry, I have been a fan of yours for years and was inspired by what you brought to this beloved character. I may have large shoes to fill, but I’m really excited to step into the world of The Witcher,” he said. he wrote.
In a November 2021 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Cavill expressed his commitment to The Witcher franchise, with the goal of supporting creator Lauren Schmidt Hissrich’s vision for at least seven seasons.
However, Netflix recently revealed that The Witcher will end with a fifth season, with the final two seasons being filmed back-to-back.
