The photos were shared by Porsche Center Chennai on Instagram and the actor can be seen next to the GT3 RS while taking delivery. Porsche GT3 RS is track specification and a hardcore version of the regular 911. The GT3 RS receives significant improvements to the car’s aerodynamics and also receives drag reduction system and the largest rear wing that can be fitted to a road-going 911.
The GT3 RS draws inspiration from Le Mans class victory 911 RSR, as well as the motorsport-focused 911 GT3 R. Porsche says that, apart from the high-revving naturally aspirated engine “with racing DNA and knowledgeable lightweight construction”, what they most share in common is the cooling and aerodynamics systems of the 911 GT3 RS and the 911 GT3 R.
The biggest attraction of the GT3 RS is its massiveness the rear wing rests on a swan’s neck, which consists of a fixed main wing and an upper, hydraulically adjustable wing element. For the first time on any Porsche production vehicle, the upper edge of the rear wing is higher than the roof of the car!
Continuously adjustable wing elements at the front and a giant two-piece rear wing, combined with other aerodynamic solutions, provide 409 kg of total downforce at a speed of 200 km/h. As mentioned earlier, the GT3 RS is also equipped with a drag reduction system (DRS), making it the first production car from Porsche in history to be equipped with it. For low drag and higher speeds on straight sections of track, DRS allows the wings to flatten at the touch of a button, within a specific operating range.

As for the powertrain, the GT3 RS is powered by a 4.0-liter, six-cylinder boxer engine with a power of 518 HP and a maximum torque of 465 Nm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed PDK automatic transmission. Porsche claims the GT3 RS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 296 km/h.
