Mahindra Thar gets novel green color option: Check price, variants and more

Less than two months ago, Mahindra and Mahindra stopped Naples Black color and replaced it with a novel one Hidden black color option. And now the company has quietly introduced a novel shade of army green called “Deep Forest.” Thanks to this, the Thar is now available in six body colors – Red Rage, Deep Gray, Everest whitehidden black, Dessert furyAND Deep forest.The last three are the newest items in the Thara color palette.

The novel Deep Forest color option is available on both petrol and diesel variants. Moreover, the same Deep Forest color is also available on the recently launched Mahindra XUV 3XO and Mahindra Scorpio-N. Mahindra Thar is available with three engine options – 1.5-litre turbodiesel paired with 6-speed manual gearbox and RWD, 2.2-litre turbodiesel paired with 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter with 4×4 drive and a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter with 4×4 drive.

In other news, Mahindra has also increased the prices of the Thar. Basic level only variants Thar rivers have been increased by Rs 10,000. The prices of the remaining variants remain the same. Getting started price base AX(O) Diesel MT RWD variant priced at Rs. 11.35 lakh, down from Rs. 11.25 thousand The LX MT RWD diesel is now priced at Rs 12.85 and the LX AT RWD petrol is priced at Rs 14.1 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).

In terms of features, the Thar comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Car Play/Android Auto, semi-digital instrument cluster, TPMS, 18-inch alloy wheels, steering-wheel audio controls, LED taillights and more. In terms of safety, it has dual airbags, ABS, EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, seat belt reminder and much more.
