Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) on Saturday exported the first-ever shipment of 100-octane premium XP100 fuel to Sri Lanka. The product is adapted to top-shelf premium vehicles.
Marking off the consignment at Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust in Mumbai, V. Satish Kumar, Chief Marketing Officer, Indian Oil said that this is the third time that the Company is taking the product abroad, showing its potential to ship quality products from India to India . world. “This is a momentous occasion as another of our products sets out to conquer novel markets in Sri Lanka,” he said.
Sujoy Choudhary, Director (Business Planning & Development) and IOC President for Lanka, said: “This is a historic day as we ship our premium product XP100 to Sri Lanka. We have developed comprehensive promotional programs to ensure wider visibility and acceptance of this product.
The XP100 has been developed in the country using IndianOil’s indigenous Octamax technology. Designed with anti-knock properties in mind, it is designed to improve engine performance, accelerate faster, smoother ride and improve fuel economy.
The formula is claimed to reduce deposits and emissions in high-compression engines, optimizing vehicle performance and durability while minimizing maintenance. It is also an environmentally warm fuel with significantly reduced exhaust emissions, we read in the press release.
