The displays of Apple’s iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models are expected to go into production next month, tech website MacRumors reports, as analysts try to glean information from tech leaks or make predictions about the fresh iPhone series expected later this year.
While Apple hasn’t officially confirmed or denied the claim, the timeline was reported by MacRumors, citing a subscriber-only post on Platform X written by display analyst Ross Newborn.
Some expected models this year include iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to be slightly larger than their predecessors, with MacRumors reporting the iPhone 16 Pro’s display to be 6.3 inches and the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s display to be 6.9 inches.

Apple’s highly anticipated iPhone launches usually take place in the fall.
At an event on May 7, Apple announced the launch of the fresh iPad Pro tablet, its thinnest ever, powered by the latest M4 chip.
However, the company faced backlash after CEO Tim Cook released an ad that day showing the crushing of musical instruments and art materials to promote the fresh iPad Pro.
