The trailer of the upcoming Tamil psycho-thriller directed by Sarathkumar, Hit list, was presented today by the creators. Written and directed by Sooryakathir Kaakkallar and K Karthikeyan, the film is scheduled to release on May 31.
The trailer starts showing Sarathkumar as a cop threatening to take out a gangster. We then see newcomer Vijay Kanishka as a helpless juvenile man who begs an influential gangster (Ramachandra Raju) to aid him kill a rowdy. Suddenly the movie turns into a serial killer drama as we see a mysterious masked man killing innocent people in a ghastly way, just like Jigsaw from the movie Saw. We also get glimpses of Gautham Vasudev Menon and Samuthirakani’s characters. The trailer does a great job of not giving away too much of the plot.
Hit list The film also stars Munishkanth, Redin Kingsley, Sithara, Smruthi Venkat and Aishwariya Dutta in pivotal roles. The cast also includes Abi Nakshatra, Anupama Kumar and Balasaravanan.
