In terms of styling, the modern EV6 looks sharper than before and gets a modern front end look. It comes with angular LED DRLs with V-shaped daytime running lights, while the front bumper and lower grille also get a modern look. It received newly designed alloy wheels on the sides, while the rear was largely unchanged except for a modern design for the taillights and bumper.
Inside, the overall layout is the same, but now we get a vast, curved widescreen screen that houses the digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen. The steering wheel now has a fingerprint scanner that allows registered drivers to drive the car without a key. Other features include OTA updates, AI-based navigation, digital rearview mirror, wireless charger, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, connected car technology, ADAS level 2, remote parking assist and much more.
Speaking of the biggest change, the EV6 now gets a larger battery. The EV gives up 77.5 kWh and gets an 84 kWh battery, which also performs this function in the Hyundai Ioniq 5. The RWD variant with a single 225 hp and 350 nm motor has a claimed range of up to 494 km, up from 474 km previously . The dual-engine variants deliver 320 HP and 605 Nm of torque. The battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in 18 minutes using a 350 kW DC speedy charger.
