On Friday evening, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) posted a video of their assistant coach Abhishek Nayar talking to his former coach. Mumbai teammate Rohit Sharma in the Gardens of Eden.
However, the video went viral when fans started writing down what the duo talked about. The video was later deleted from KKR’s social media where the former Mumbai Indians captain can be heard feeling disappointed after being removed as captain by the Mumbai franchise.

Drama in the locker room
Ranked 9th in the 10-team competition, Mumbai Indians’ decision to remove Rohit Sharma, the current India captain who led the team to five Indian Premier League (IPL) titles, was unpopular with Hardik Pandya, who was repeatedly booed by fans earlier in the season in match days.
Earlier this week, the Indian Express had also reported that senior Mumbai Indians players were not ecstatic with Hardik’s leadership style.
It all started after Hardik Pandya blamed Tilak Varma’s match awareness for MI’s 10-run defeat against Delhi Capitals.
What Hardik Pandya said about Tilak Varma
“(When) Axar was bowling to the left-hander (Tilak), the better option might have been to attack him,” Hardik said in his blunt assessment in the official post-match broadcast. “I think we just lacked a little bit of game awareness. Ultimately it cost us the game.
The phase of the game that Hardik was talking about came when left-arm pacer Axar bowled in the eighth minute. At this stage, MI was 72 for 3. Axar bowled only two overs in the match. Of the 12 balls he bowled that evening, left-handed batsman Tilak faced six. However, in the first four balls of this contest, Tilak decided to pick only single balls.
Tilak Varma scored 63 runs and was the highest run-getter among Mumbai Indians.
