The novel Maruti Suzuki Swift is offered in five variants – LXi, VXi, ZXi, ZXi plus and ZXI Plus DT, and prices range from Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 9.64 lakh (ex-showroom). The prices of individual variants are given below. The novel Swift is available in nine exterior colors, including three dual-tone and two novel gloss blue and noval orange. The novel fourth-generation Swift is essentially a heavily updated version of the third-generation platform with a novel design, novel engine, improved dynamics and an updated interior layout with novel features and safety. The novel Swift is 15mm longer, 40mm narrower and 30mm taller than the aged model. The wheelbase remains the same and is 2,450 mm.

Moving inside, the novel Swift’s interior draws inspiration from the Baleno and Fronx. It will get a novel dashboard layout with a floating infotainment system with sleek air conditioning vents and HVAC controls below. In terms of features, it will get a stand-alone 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support, Connected Car technology, over 40 Connected Car features, wireless charger, semi-digital instrument cluster with 4.2-inch MID, steering – installed controls, automatic air conditioning, push-button start, rear parking camera with sensors and much more.

In terms of safety, the novel Swift comes with six airbags, ESP, hill climb control and three-point seat belts as standard across all variants. As mentioned earlier, the novel Swift is offered in nine color options – Sizzling Red, Pearl Arctic White, Magma Gray and Splendid Silver. There are three two-tone colors to choose from – Luster Blue with a Midnight Black roof, Sizzling Red with a Midnight Black roof and Pearl Arctic White with a Midnight Black roof.

The biggest change in the novel Swift concerns the front of the drivetrain. The novel Swift is powered by an all-new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated Z-series petrol engine, replacing the existing four-cylinder K12 engine. The novel Swift has reported a fuel efficiency of 24.8 kmpl for the MT variants and 25.75 kmpl for the AMT. The novel engine generates 82 HP and 112 Nm of torque. For comparison, the previous model produced 90 HP and 113 Nm, which means a decrease of 8 HP and 1 Nm.
