Emily Blunt reveals what movie she performed her most “stressful” stunt in, and her answer may surprise some fans.
In her latest film, the Oscar-nominated actress may have performed deadly acrobatics. Autumn guybut recently she said People magazine that her most terrible act took place in 2018 Mary Poppins Returns.
“This entrance was very stressful for me,” he recalls of this scene.
Blunt, who took over the memorable role of Julie Andrews in the Disney musical sequel, explained that her character’s entrance “had to start in the clouds and descend towards the ground, holding an umbrella up. And I have to effortlessly enter into this intercourse as if it were nothing.”
The Oppenheimer the star added: “I did three takes and then I felt my tolerance drop. «Pfft!». And that’s it. I finished.”
However, Blunt said she noticed that director Rob Marshall wanted to shoot a fourth take, but she immediately shut it down.
“I did three takes and saw Rob getting ready to take another one,” the actress recalled. “I thought, ‘No, no, no, no, I’ve had enough.’ That was the end.”
While Blunt also does a fight scene Autumn guywhere she stars alongside Ryan Gosling, some fans might have guessed that her scariest stunts were from a sci-fi action movie Edge of tomorrow with Tom Cruise, but it wasn’t.
“I made some things out of wire Edge of tomorrow, which was probably more unsafe because I spilled some alcohol,” she said. She also won the Critics Choice Award for Best Actress in an Action Film for her role in the 2014 film.
