In terms of engine, the NS400 Z is powered by a 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that generates 39.4PS of power at 8,800rpm and 35Nm of torque at 65,000rpm. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox and an auxiliary and slipper clutch. The same engine also serves in the Bajaj Dominar 400.
In terms of design, the NS 400Z looks like an evolution of the NS200. At the front, there is an LED projector featherlight with lightning-shaped DRLs. It has a huge fuel tank with carefully integrated extensions that overlap the radiator. It also has carbon fiber stickers on the covers. The side and rear sections look very similar to the NS 200, but here the design takes on a sharper profile.
