President Donald Trump said on December 17 that the next US Federal Reserve chairman will believe in “substantially” lowering interest rates.
In a prime-time address to the nation, President Trump said he would “soon announce the next chairman of the Federal Reserve” and outlined his national security and economic achievements in the first year of his second term.
