In Week 10, the Seahawks played at home against the Cardinals in the NFC West. Seattle previously defeated Arizona 23-20 in Week 4. Trailing 21-0 at the end of the first quarter, the Cardinals had no chance.
When the game ended on Sunday, the Seahawks had won 44-22. The final score does not indicate how dominant the Seahawks were in Week 10. Against the Cardinals, Jackson Smith-Nigba had five catches for 93 yards and one touchdown. The third-year pro from Seattle made NFL history through nine games. He is the third player in league history to gain at least 75 receiving yards in each of the first nine games of the season.
Jackson Smith-Njiba made his presence felt as the Seahawks’ WR1.

After a 44-22 win against the Cardinals in Week 10, the Seahawks improved to 7-2 in 2025. In addition, the team won four straight games. Offensively, Seattle has been one of the top teams in the NFL this season. His 30.6 points per game ranks third in the league. Additionally, Seattle’s 246.1 passing yards per game in 2025 is the seventh-most in the NFL. The Seahawks are developing an explosive passing offense heading into 2025.
That’s thanks to his connections with Sam Darnold and Jackson Smith-Njiba. Credit the Seahawks for trading DK Metcalf this offseason and knowing they had a legitimate WR1 in Smith-Nijiva. As the Seahawks’ WR2 in 2024, Jackson Smith-Njiba had 100 catches, 1,130 yards, and six touchdowns. Through nine games in 2025, Smith-Nijiva had 63 catches for 1,041 yards and five touchdowns. His 115.7 yards per game is an NFL high this season.

Jackson Smith-Njiba made NFL history with his 93 receiving yards in Week 10. He is the third player to have at least 75 yards receiving in each of the first nine games of the season. Jackson Smith-Njiba joins Randy Moss (1995) and Antonio Brown (2014). Additionally, his 1,041 receiving yards through nine games is the fifth-most since the league merged in 1970.
Jackson Smith-Njiba starts Seattle’s season on a historic pace. He shows no signs of slowing down. Sam Darnold and Jackson Smith-Njiba have connected on passes of at least 40 yards six times this season. Seattle’s all-time receiving record is DK Metcalf’s 1,303 yards in 2020. Given his pace of play, Smith-Njiba will likely make it by Thanksgiving. Jackson Smith-Njiba is currently on pace to break Calvin Johnson’s single-season receiving record of 1,964 yards.
