US President Donald Trump said on October 30 that the United States and Russia are talking about de-escalating nuclear tensions, describing the talks as part of a broader effort to curb global nuclear risks.
Upon returning to Washington from a tour of Asia, President Trump was asked by reporters aboard Air Force One whether his decision to order the Pentagon to resume nuclear weapons testing after a 30-year hiatus could contribute to a more dangerous international environment.
