At the start of Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season, the Eagles were on the road for TNF vs. the Giants. Philadelphia was expected to bounce back from a loss to the Broncos in Week 5.
Despite their best efforts, the Eagles were unable to stop the Giants on Thursday night. New York won the game 34-17, giving them the win in Week 6. The rookie duo of Jackson Dart and Cam Skatebo played at a high level against Philadelphia. Skatebo scored a career-high three rushing touchdowns. He is the first Giants rookie running back to score three rushing touchdowns in a game since Charlie Evans in 1971.

Giants rookie running back Cam Skatebo had an incredible performance in the 34-17 win against the Eagles in Week 6. He carried the ball 19 times with 98 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. Skatebo added two receptions for 12 yards. The 23-year-old had his best game of the season in New York’s primetime game against the Eagles. Cam Scatterbo becomes the first Giants rookie running back to score three rushing touchdowns in a game since Charlie Evans in 1971.
New York selected Scaetto out of Arizona State in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. In his final year at university, Skatebo had a breakout season. His 293 carries and 1,711 rushing yards led the Big 12 in 2024. He finished fifth in Heisman Trophy voting. Kam Scatterbo was a versatile player in college, and he proved that early on with the New York Giants.

Through six games played and three starts, Cam Skatebo carried the ball 83 times for 338 yards and three rushing touchdowns. The average distance per carry is 4.1 yards. Additionally, he had 20 receptions on 24 targets for 155 receiving yards. Cam Skatebo has breathed new life into the New York Giants’ backfield. He couldn’t have done it without the help of rookie teammate Jackson Dart.
Jackson Dart started the first two games, going 2-1 against the Los Angeles Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles. Barring five straight turnovers from the Giants in Week 5, Dart could start his career at 3-0. The rookie QB went 17-for-25 passing for 195 yards and one touchdown. He gained 58 yards on 13 carries and scored one rushing touchdown. Jackson Dart and Cam Skatebo combined for over 350 yards of offense and five touchdowns. It was New York’s biggest win in a while. They have another matchup scheduled for Week 8 against the Eagles.
