Through the first five games of 2025, the Baltimore Ravens are 1-4. The team suffered a 44-10 loss to the Texans, resulting in their third loss in a row. The Ravens were without two-time MVP Lamar Jackson during that contest.
In Week 5, Jackson missed his first game since the 2022 season due to injury. He injured his hamstring in a 37-20 loss to the Chiefs. NFL insider Ian Rapoport noted that it’s doubtful Lamar Jackson will play in Week 6. Baltimore is set to receive a bye in Week 7, so there’s no reason for the team to rush him. Can Cooper Rush lead his team to victory against the 3-2 Los Angeles Rams?

The Ravens started the year 1-4 for the first time since 2015. Baltimore will have another very tough game against the Rams in Week 6. The Ravens will not start QB Lamar Jackson for the second straight game. He is currently suffering from a hamstring injury, and Jackson did not practice all week. All signs point to the former first-round pick being out in Week 6. If the Ravens lose to the Rams, they will fall to 1-5.
Only four teams in league history have made the playoffs after starting 1-5. The last one will be against the Commanders in 2020. Despite injuries and a 1-5 record, the Ravens are likely to win the AFC North. The same is true if the Steelers start 3-1. Cooper Rush will start for the Ravens in Week 6 in place of Lamar Jackson. He went 14-20 with 179 passing yards and three interceptions. Derrick Henry had 15 carries for 33 yards and one touchdown.

In Week 5, Baltimore’s offense struggled to maintain consistency. Baltimore played tough defense against the Texans, but the Ravens will have their hands full in Week 6. The Rams have 15 sacks as a team by 2025. This is the third-most in the NFL through five games. The Ravens will continue to struggle defensively in 2025. The team has lost the past two games 81-30.
The Ravens are trying to avoid becoming the second team in NFL history to allow four passing touchdowns and zero interceptions in three straight games. Patrick Mahomes completed four touchdown passes against the Ravens in Week 4, and CJ Stroud also completed one in Week 5 against the Texans. Baltimore will face the Los Angeles Rams, led by Matthew Stafford. As a team, the Rams are averaging 288.9 passing yards per game. Second most in the NFL. Sunday’s Week 6 matchup will be another tough one for the Ravens.
