Dubai-based Front Row Entertainment has secured all Middle East and North Africa rights to the Egyptian drama Day family story Agreement with Saudi Arabia’s Big Time Fund.

The film, directed by Karim El-Shenawy, had its world premiere last December as an opening night film at the Red Sea International Film Festival, where it was screened in Berlin’s Generations section.

This story, written by Haitham Dabbour, follows 11-year-old Albino Nubian Daye. Accompanied by her mother, sister, and devoted music teacher, Dayeh journeyed from her home in southern Egypt to Cairo to confront bullying and prejudice and find the courage to be seen and heard.

Front Row will release the film theatrically in the Gulf on September 18th and will be available on SVOD platforms immediately. The deal excludes Egypt.

The distributor and producer said the collaboration with Big Time Fund reflects a shared commitment to “bring bold and impactful Arab and international films to audiences in the Middle East and North Africa.”

The Big Time Fund operates as part of an initiative supported by Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority and invests in entertainment projects to strengthen the Kingdom’s creative economy and boost Arab storytelling.
