At least five people have been killed after Russia launched an “combined” missile and drone attack in Ukraine overnight until Sunday.

Ukrainian President Voldymir Zelenki said it is the region of Lviv, Ivano Frankivsk, Zaporisia, Chernichv, Sammy, Kharkiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Odesa, Odesa, Odesa, Odesa, Odesa, Odesa, Odesa, Odesa, Odesa and Odesa. Missile, “Shard” drone and Kinzharmisil.

Moscow targeted civilian infrastructure “once again,” Zelensky said it had more than 50 ballistic missiles and about 500 drones. He called for “more protection and faster implementation of all defense contracts.”

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibikha said that all four families, including a teenage girl, were killed in the western region of Lviv and featured photos of the buildings destroyed in the aftermath of the attack.

The strike damaged several residential buildings and the capital industrial park in Sparrow, which caused fires.

In a city in the southern part of Zaporidia, air attacks killed a civilian woman and injured nine other people, including a 16-year-old girl, said area governor Ivan Fedorov.

Fedorov said the strike using drones and guided air bombs destroyed the residential buildings and left around 3,000 households in Zaporizhzhia and its surrounding area without electricity.

Sunday’s attack follows a massive strike at Ukrainian station in Shostka on Saturday.

One person was killed and dozens more injured in an attack that Zelensky called “Savage.”

Oleksandr Pertsovsky, head of Ukrazaryznitya, the Ukrainian national railway operator, called the strike “a vulgar attack aimed at halting communication with the frontline community.”

“This is one of the most cruel Russian tactics. The so-called “double tap” is when the second strike hits rescuers and people refugeing,” Sybiha said in a Telegram post.

Moscow has stepped up airstrikes on Ukrainian railway networks and has attacked almost daily for the past two months.

Like in the past few years since Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Moscow has stepped up its strike on Ukrainian power grid in the months leading up to winter.
