Emily Stillman, Senior Vice President of Warner Bros. Studios Laceden, was elected to chair the BAFTA Film Committee after two years of serving as vice-chairman.
Anthony Andrews, co-founder and creative director of We Are Paraable, has been elected vice-chairman.
Stillman takes over from Anna Higgs as a film chair. Stilman is responsible for business development, marketing and operation of Warner Bros Studios Leavesden and Warner Bros Burbank, and is a board member of the Production Guild, the BFC National Advisory Board and the Film and Television Charity Mental Health Task Force, and was elected to the BAFTA Film Committee in June 2021.
Andrews founded a comparable equivalent to his wife, Teanne Andrews, in 2013. It is a film exhibition and distribution company that offers viewers in the UK and around the world the opportunity to experience black cinema and television.
Hillary Rosen, UKTV’s Lucky Office Director, has been re-elected as chairman of the TV committee, with Christine Healy, production director of Playground, as vice-chairman.
BAFTA’s Sector Committee plays an important role in manipulating the organization’s awards and helping to provide charitable goals. The chair also sits on the BAFTA council meeting.
The BAFTA Film Awards will be held on February 22nd, 2026.
